The White Swan Edgbaston – Gastro pub. Lovely interior, great beers. Sit in the sunshine and enjoy. The food is good and worth it.

Akbars of Bradford Hagley Road – used to be a nightclub – this place is lavish, inexpensive, naan breads as big as a small child and a great atmosphere. If you love curries, but hate Indian restaurants – go here – you will love it.

TGI Fridays Hagley Road – always good for a laugh – I’m glad I don’t have to wear those uniforms laden with a million badges to prove how “cool” I am. But its always fun in TGIs wherever you go – good cocktails, good food (American) so burgers, ribs, steaks. The hot chicken wings are my favourite.
