The duck – (it’s a Beefeater) good for steaks and a pint – they are a bit expensive but quality has improved hugely in the last few years

Garden house pub (Chef and Brewer) always good food – not the best atmosphere but one of the only bars in central Birmingham you can sit outside in the sun all day

Akbars indian restaurant – great food – even better decor and atmosphere – go when its busy and be prepared to wait its worth it!

TGI Fridays Hagley road – everyone loves it there – always busy – great for a pint and a burger – even a cocktail – it feels like every table has a birthday in there – maybe you should treat yourself too?
